    On top of Mr. Fusion is a Krups 223a coffee grinder that was also used in the movie Alien

    The base of Mr. Fusion consists of a modified Singer Aerospace Librascope cap

      Mr. Fusion was introduced at the end of the first Back to the Future movie when Doc Brown returns from 2015 and converted his plutonium chamber to a device that turns garbage (like bananas and Miller beer) into energy.

        Diamond Select Toys did a licensed replica of Mr.Fusion in 2015. Here‘s a review by Bob Gale the co-writer of Back to the Future :

        Based on a 3D scan of the Krupps Coffee grinder and the CAD files provided by Gary Weaver we did a 3D model of the Mr. Fusion base which allowed us to provide these measurements.
